Athletics Preview Future Home Park in Las Vegas with Exciting Tour

The Athletics are making significant strides towards their future home park in Las Vegas, as they recently toured the construction site while playing a homestand at the Las Vegas Aviators' stadium. Set to open in 2028, the new ballpark is located at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue. Team president Marc Badain led the tour, highlighting the impressive progress made since the groundbreaking ceremony on June 23, 2025. The stadium will feature a glass roof designed to minimize glare while allowing natural light, enhancing the fan experience. A's manager Mark Kotsay emphasized the unique design, noting that fans will have unobstructed views of the field from the main concourse. The ballpark, built on nine acres of a 36-acre site, will accommodate 33,000 fans and promises the closest seats to home plate in MLB. As construction continues, questions about parking logistics are being addressed, with plans for a parking garage and access to public transportation options. The Athletics are excited about the future of their new home and the opportunities it will bring for fans and the community.
